Welcome to the web site of the Alabama Oilmen’s Invitational Golf Tournament. We appreciate your interest in this, our 27th Anniversary Tournament. If you’re not familiar with our golf tournament, perhaps you should know that it is the single largest golf event of the industrial community in the Southeast and one of the largest golf tournaments in the country. Year in and year out we host over 600 key decision makers for three days of fun and fellowship. The tournament is held at the magnificent Robert Trent Jones Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile, Alabama. This year’s event will be held June 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
Some of the most “talked-about” highlights of our event include
an optional Dogfight Tournament
on Friday. The Dogfight affords our guests an opportunity to play a “warm
up round” before the tournament begins on Saturday. The ever popular putting contest sonsored by SouthernLINC Wireless is an opportunity for bragging rights for master of the greens. Back by popular demand is our Friday Night Kick-Off Bash! With live music by one of the top local bands "PEEK", Hot BBQ and Cold Beverages to wash it down. This gives everyone a chance to fellowship and talk some trash before the scores start to count. On Saturday after a fun filled day on the course we kick of the nights festivities with the Famous Crawfish Boil hosted by our longtime partner Industrial Valve.
Our guests dine on freshly prepared crawfish and other goodies
along with plenty of ice cold beverages to wash it all down. After dinner is our
highly anticipated door prize giveaway at which we give away thousands
of dollars in door prizes to our participants. As always with the Oilmens Invitational
you can expect the door prizes to be bigger and more exciting than ever. Your participation in this year's tournament will benefit the
Magic Moments Foundation, a federally recognized, non-profit agency that is dedicated to making childrens dreams come true. You should take pride in being part of this worthy cause. Everyones favorite part of our tournament is the FOOD. We place cook tents (sponsored by various companies typically in
the industrial market) on about every three holes which provide delicious
food and beverages to our golfers and the secret cuisine judges will vote for the winner of the Charlie Kilgore Skillet Award.
This year’s
tournament is shaping up to be another one to remember. If you are fortunate enough
to get an invitation, this is definitely an event you will not want to miss!
